Evans family Grocers

James and Beth originally from farming stock, decided to start a greengrocers business in Ludlow October 2024. Their aim was to connect the local people with the local farms once again. Their business grew and grew as they started to severe the community in the good old fashioned way on Ludlow market. Starting off with trading in Ludlow on Mondays then onto weekly markets in Tenbury wells, Churchstoke and Knighton. Evan’s family grocers offer quality fresh produce to households, retail outlets and caterers across Shropshire, Herefordshire and mid wales.
Recently Beth has launched a range of jams and preserves and is hoping to launch a soup and oven ready products later this year.

Lizzie’s Layers

Lizzy and family have been producing eggs since 2019 at Hackstone Farm, at the foot of the Clee Hills. The Powell family have been farming at Hackstone for over 100 years, primarily milking. In recent years diversifying into ice cream and egg production. They provide many Local businesses in and around Ludlow with fresh eggs almost daily.
