Our Suppliers

Our aim as local farmers was to create a communal marketplace to showcase our outstanding and very much underestimated farming community. The Bull Ring Farm Shop has curated a group of local produce, products and brands to bring our local farmers back into a traditional style farm shop. We want to highlight everything our local farming community has to offer, find all our suppliers listed below.

  • A. Cross and Family potatoes
    • Based at Mortimers Cross, Herefordshire. The Cross family have a mixed arable and livestock farm, also producing excellent quality Melody potatoes. All handpicked and bagged on the farm. Unlike larger potato producers, 100% of their potatoes are sold to the local community.
  • Bara’s Bakes
    • Sara is a home based baker in Knighton, Powys. She is providing the shop with delicious tray bakes, brownies and larger 6 inch cakes.
  • Cotteswold Dairy
    • Hackstone farm is home to 160 Holstein Friesian cows, who are milked on site. Their milk is then sold to Cotteswold Dairy to be pasteurised and packaged. Some of the milk is then returned to us.
  • Evans Family Grocers
    • Evan’s family grocers offer quality fresh produce to households, retail outlets and caterers across Shropshire, Herefordshire and mid wales. Recently launching a range of jams and preserves, hoping to launch a soup and oven ready products later this year.
  • Laura’s Dairy
    • Laura’s Dairy was established in September 2021 by mother and daughter team Jeanette and Laura. Creating delicious ice cream with fresh milk from Hackstone farm just 5.5 miles from Ludlow.
  • Lizzies Layers
    • Lizzies layers is a family run business just 5.5 miles outside of Ludlow at Hackstone farm, Clee Downton. Striving for that fantastic taste and perfect coloured yolk. Mother and daughter team tend to their flock of hens to a very high standard, allowing the hens free range and roam with one of the best views in Shropshire.
  • Norburys Cider
    • Norbury Cider offer draught and bottled cider, perry, fruit wines, apple juice, jams, pickles and chutneys from their farm in Storridge, near Malvern, Worcs. In season we also offer fresh apples, pears, plums, cherries, damsons and quince.
  • Partridge’s Butchers
    • Partridge’s Butchers based in Bromsgrove has been serving the people of Worcestershire since 1880 providing them with the finest selection of meats. Father, son and team make an array of raw meat products, cured meats, pies, scotch eggs, ready meals and much more following traditional recipes in house. Just 1/2 a mile down the road of their shop at Washingstocks farm. They produce their only livestock and have a small abattoir on the farm, reducing food miles and decreasing the stress of transport of the livestock, giving you outstanding quality tasty meat.
  • Shropshire Spice Company
    • The Shropshire Spice Company began life in the Old Chapel in Clunton, Shropshire in the mid 1970’s set up by a group of friends. The aim was to produce high quality recipes that could be sent through the post and also provide employment for the locals.
  • The Shropshire Scratchings Company
    • The Shropshire Scratchings Company was created by a family of food loving people with a genuine passion for exceptional pork scratchings. One that captures a taste of our proud rural heritage and culinary landscape.Driven by the absolute pursuit of savoury satisfaction, we meticulously craft each batch with care and trusted ingredients.
  • Two Farmers
    • Two Farmers began with the vision of making delicious hand-cooked crisps that celebrate the true flavours of Herefordshire, whilst protecting this wonderful countryside with a 100% compostable packet.
  • Woodston Manor
    • Woodston Manor is a working family farm near Tenbury Wells at the heart of the Teme Valley. Primarily a livestock and arable farm producing quality pedigree livestock.Over 80 years ago Mrs Hillhouse’s Grandfather planted fruit orchards which consists of apple, cherry, pear and plum trees. The orchards make up around 15% of the farm. At Woodstoon the apples are handpicked, pressed and bottled on the farm and sold to the local community and shops.
